Awful throw from Gonzalez obviously, but that sure looked like something Rickie should have been able to catch anyways?

Nice job by Peralta to lock down the damage. Lets get that back now. On a side note I'm glad I'm not playing baseball there today, looks brutal!

Wily is on tonight. Overall good command, and has varied the speed and movement on his two-seamer all night. I realize it is the Cubs and a tough night for hitters, but very encouraging nevertheless.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Tend not to jump on managerial moves, but why not just let Wily see if he could get out of it? The pens been bad, Wily pitched well tonight. Ugh.
You may run like Mays...

Clearly BF.net crashing was bad luck for the Brewers. Nice outing from Peralta, to bad it is going to be a no decision.

Peralta's hit broke BF.net.

Haha...I was trying to get on here to say how bad Gonzalez sucked before he threw up that meatball to Rizzo. I guess it wasn't just my connection after all.....

Seems pretty dumb not to let Peralta finish that inning. Pitch count wasn't high, he carved up the Cubs' lineup and Gonzalez is awful.

I disagree. His location was definitely slipping and he hadn't looked good at all vs lefties. Right decision, poor result followed by poor decision with good results with Axford.

Yeah Wily looked horrible against Castro.

No kidding. He was filthy against Castro. He should've been left in.
