We have a horrible pitching staff. It's gone on too long and at some people, someone needs to be held accountable for it. Either Kranitz can't get anything out of these guys, or Melvin is not supplying any talent. This is no longer acceptable, especially against a weak offense like the Giants.

Fiers in his first inning was 90 and 91 mph on the 4 seamer. In the next inning he was back to his 88 mph.

 

With his 'deception' and four pitches, if he can throw 91 mph, maybe he indeed is destined to be a good, good 1 or 2 inning guy. We could sure use ONE - even ONE.

You need to get on base first. Also, you don't steal 3B much.
