The Sheamus / Ziggler match and the VKM/Punk matches were great. I can do without Little Jimmy dance contests or Larry King and team hell no is starting to get boring since its the same thing every week

Yeah, the "I'm the tag team champions" bit has jumped the shark. It's time to move on from that. But Kane's comment about thinking Larry King was skeletor was hilarious. I laughed out loud at that one.

I apologize if this violates any of the board rules, but the CM Punk documentary has been uploaded to Youtube in its entirety. Amazing documentary. Hopefully Ring of Honor will get a little boost from the documentary. I still plan on purchasing the Blu-Ray version for the extra features.

I just don't like CM Punk enough to buy it. I downloaded it, and I'll probably watch it just because sometimes I like his wrestling, but I think it's no coincidence that they don't draw with him on top. As much crap as Nash got when he ripped on indy/small guys, I think he's correct that Punk is pretty much just a guy (even if he was just trying to get a rise out of people). Sometimes he cuts a good promo, sometimes he has a really good match, but otherwise it seems like there are just a lot of people telling me to like a guy that just isn't anything special. Bryan is 10X the wrestler that Punk is and is a better character, IMO.

I'm personally all for giving Ryback a run now. He has the potential to be an actual star. Not one that just a bunch of internet fans (not directed at people in this thread), who don't spend money on the product, like.

I don't know how or why you think Punk isn't a great wrestler. I agree Bryan is great too but Punk is awesome. I just think he hasn't really gotten a chance to show what he's really capable of in WWE since Vince hates having guys actually wrestle. For him, it's too much about the entertainment. That being said, I do love what he's done with Ryback, even though it's basically a Goldberg rip-off. His intensity and in-ring persona are a lot of fun to watch, but I still don't know if he'd actually be able to wrestle a match (other than the squashes he's basically only done so far).

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I have no inside info but I think that match will happen. For a while now you could tell they had mutual respect for each other based on their comments on Twitter. Recently Punk has started talking trash about him on Twitter and Raw so I would imagine they are laying the seeds for a match or else why would he do that.

i wonder if they are setting up a triple threat match for punk or if ryback is simply the backup plan for cena. he didn't really look like he could wrestle yet last week when he came out to throw punk back to ryback with one hand.

Is Austin able to actually wrestle at all anymore though? I would definitely pay to see him wrestle one more time, but I'd hate to see him do some really weak match if he can't really go.

I think Austin definitely has one more match left in him. He'd have to train for awhile, and wait for his knee to heal up first though. Probably WM 30 is realistic.

Oh my! I think Kofi just legit knocked out The Miz with that Trouble in Paradise kick.

Found an animated .gif of the kick...

The Miz is tough. He ended up wrestling a 20 minute match against Kofi at the Smackdown/Main Event taping a day after taking that kick.

I think they did the best they could under the circumstances. The finish doesn't bother me that much. Ryback still looks like an unstoppable machine. Punk still retains the title. And they didn't need Lesnar to do it, although I was hoping they would. The storyline has advanced nicely, in my opinion.

I am wondering if this will now begin some kind of Heyman stable vs. a McMahon stable.

Stables would sure be nice. I miss them, as long as they keep them in check...not 10 deep NWO style.

They really haven't had one in quite awhile, but I miss the days of the orginal DX, The Nation of Domination, etc. I'm sure they'll find a way to screw it up though.

I could see the Heyman stable being Punk, Lesnar, Ziggler, Cesaro and Vicki; and the McMahon stable being Cena, Ryback, Gabriel, AJ or something like it. I think it'd be kind of cool myself as long as it doesn't get too big.

I'm really underwhelmed by Ryback... no promo skills or charisma to speak of and his move set isn't much more than the standard big man throw and clothesline show. He's rapidly becoming overexposed. Give me Skip Sheffield back.

I just sat through the entire 3 hours of Raw. Last time I make that mistake for awhile.

(Did think the 3MB thing was pretty funny, though I'll take anything to get Drew McIntyre back on television.)

was really disappointed by the finish of the HITC ppv. i know they didn't want a clean finish nor could they take the belt off of punk, and were backed into a corner because it was hell it the cell, but they could have done better than a "rogue ref". I know Cena getting hurt really limited their options, but come on.I kind of hope though that since they introduced the roque ref they run with it to make a huge storyline. The AJ Lee - Vicki - Cena thing already is boring me and it has just begun. I don't know where they go from here.

i think there is a 99% chance that Ryback pins Punk this time to inact his revenge on Punk at survivor series.

me too, usually DVR it and skip through most of it. this is what happens when there is a boring MNF game on and baseball season is over.
