Gomez is a completely different player offensively than he was 2-3 seasons ago with Milwaukee...Granted, he's not going to hit 0.350 for the season, but right now I'm hard-pressed to think of another CF I'd want on my team, unless Trout decides to play there everyday.

Roenicke is going to break Thornburg and Kintzler's arms. Bottom of the order and up 4 sounds like a good spot for just about anyone.

Not thrilled to see Thornburg in again but he keeps mowing them down. Life is good as a Brewer fan when the biggest argument during game threads lately is which big lead late in games is enough for a Rule 5 guy with mid-90's gas to get on the mound.

It's even worse because 2 of the first 3 batters that inning would have been lefties. I wouldn't be so critical, but this guy looked like he could legitimately pitch in spring, and wasn't just a cynical attempt to steal a guy at the cost of a roster spot.

See, if Weeks doesn't ground in to double play there, Smith likely completes the game, now he'll be removed and another arm gets usage.
