RRR is going to wreck Thornburg... We know he is good Ron, but you have to give the kid a break at some point.

I wonder if Ron knows that Wang is in the bullpen. At some point can he just get one batter? Just get the nerves out of the way? We have no idea if the kid is an asset to us at this point .. no idea. What if the spring training was for real? What if the kid can save Kintzler or or Thornburg an inning here and an inning there? Why don't we find out?

Why not put Wang in right here, and bring K-Rod in only if needed?

This is just another reason that RRR is so frustrating.

I feel like this IGT board is way to focused on Wang. Brewers are 7-2 and half the posts are complaining about the last guy on the roster not getting in yet. I am curious to see Wang pitch too but it's not that big of a deal.

Let's sweep the pirates and put 3.5-4 games between us and the rest of the division at home!

The great start is awesome, but finding a way to keep it going over the next 10 would be huge with all of those games against the Pirates and Cards.

That is probably the best tell that the season is going about as well as possible. Other than Weeks/Overbay .. the only thing we have to be negative about is getting that lefty some work. Always a work in progress! Just trying to get the most out of the club.

Oh come on. You all know that if his name was something like "Johnson" instead of.... forget it.

Good point, while I am probably guilty as well, why this recent infatuation with seeing Wang? There are certainly other places on the inter-webs you can your fix for that.

Winning six straight road games is quite an accomplishment. The schedule remains tough over the next several weeks, but I think there just might be something brewing here.

Thornburg only threw 19 pitches yesterday , even though he went two innings. That's low stress on the arm pitching.

Henderson threw 21 pitches in one inning yesterday and Will Smith threw 25 in his single inning tonight. It's amazing how efficient Thornburg has been. His strike to pitches thrown ratio in those 5 innings was 59/44.

I hate late inning relief pitchers who walk guys, so Thornburg has been such a pleasure to watch.

Short IGT's because we are on a 6 game winning streak, on the road, early in the season! I love brewerfan.net!

One other sign of early season success, the Brewers are tied for the MLB lead in scoring differential at +22, and have allowed the fewest total runs at just 24 runs over 9 games.

.

Getting warmed up to pitch every day is a stress on the arm. We have other pitchers we can use in a game with a 4+ run lead, why always go to the same guy? I'm saying use him when necessary, not just because he has been so great.
