His arms were up during the slide...which is textbook-break-up-double-play.

Yeah, slightly...which is how everyone is supposed to slide into 2nd when breaking up a DP. He paid for it by taking the throw into the ribcage.

I saw Cashner's first pitch and thought Braun can run against this guy. The Cashner shortened his stride, threw a fastball instead of an offspeed, and the catcher made a perfect throw. I think that was 100% Braun's idea to run. Those are the lumps you take when you try, but I thought he had a good chance to make it.

 

How many of our caught stealing is Segura being picked off of first?
