I was talking to a restaurant owner in Door County and they said they recently had trouble getting plastic utensils due to diesel costs. I have no idea how those two things relate.

Plastic is made from petroleum.  My guess is that refiners who make diesel are willing to pay more for petroleum right now than companies who make plastic utensils.

Other possibility is that some independent trucking companies/drivers are being very selective about where they go and what they transport due to diesel costs.

A refined barrel of crude includes fractions of all petroleum products - it's likely due to the transportation costs limiting urgency to truck around/deliver plastic utensils at far less than bulk quantities and not plastics manufacturing.

The LLM’s don’t do stocks all that well and I believe they are limited on purpose on what they can help you with.

For now I found a model which considers what I'm looking for (and what I'm looking to avoid) and is able to spit out that information about a company pretty quickly in a simple write-up as well as analyze any trends I might be interested in which would effect the company. I've got another one which takes a random three bi-daily and runs them for me if they've hit any targets I've set. I also like being able to just plug in any company I say and I get a rundown. I'm sure it could do more, but that's been the limit of my connections' free tiers as well as the limit of my own knowledge.

I've also got another one for crypto which scrapes the Twitter handles I've given it for mentions, social sentiment, trading volume vs. market cap, notes on the developers and scours any reported income. Also any "trim/add" position warnings, though I ignore those.

Been liking it so far. It isn't telling me what to do or anything, but it's been a great way to get detailed overviews without near as much hassle.

If you’re just scraping info from Twitter just have it create a Python script for you to do that.  The vibe code should be able to do this easily.  Then you can have the LLM also help you with creating a dashboard to easily reference it into a HTML file or excel.
