Trade coming?

Cravy and Scahill are furious and I don't blame them. Milone had no business making the roster.

Nor did Jungmann imho. Watching Jungmann nibble today was painful.

I'm guessing one of the following:

1. Guerra, Anderson or Paratla dealt: This would explain why Milone was kept. He sucked this spring but has tons of starting experience.

2. Perez, Shaw or Braun dealt.

My Texas rumors. Keone Kela is being sent to AAA for an issue on something that happened in a "B" game and while the Rangers brass say he's not available, there are teams interested in him....So again with that trade idea to acquire him.

Lol at the immature comments from the two fellows being cut at the very end. Sure they both had great stats, but they act like Jungmann was garbage all spring(he wasn't). Also if they think all decisions are based off of spring training stats they are pretty dumb. Go get that 9-5 job...tell me how that goes. Understand you are upset there, but making ridiculous comments is not helping your case.

Everyone says dumb things in the heat of the moment - don't tell us you never have. If you outperformed several of your colleagues and they got promoted and you didn't, you'd say some irrational things too.

Milone was terrible last year - made Garza look like an ace. And he was terrible this spring. What has Milone done to earn a job?

Saying dumb things in the heat of the moment is one thing. Publicly ripping your employer and boss is entirely another, and will be enough to get you fired in many lines of work.

Be frustrated, but you still have to maintain your professionalism. It's not a good look for Cravy. And I agree that Milone doesn't deserve a spot on the team.

No, cant say I have ever ripped my current employer publically and sounded stupid to any other possible future employers like that. This happens every spring to many players across MLB. Grow up Cravy.

+1. Milone is a gascan. However, I don't see where Cravy gets the feeling he is entitled to pitch at the MLB level. He put up a terrible 6.39 ERA at AAA last year.

Do you have reporters standing next to you all day listening to - and publishing - everything you say? Didn't think so.

Cravy didn't say it publicly, he said it out loud where reporters heard him and then the reporters published it publicly. Cravy didn't Tweet it, didn't post it on Facebook, didn't take out an ad in the paper and publish it - that's saying it publicly. Reporters published it, not him.

Nope. What is your point though? He is an athlete and knows reporters will publically publish it. That is his fault and should use his head. If I had reporters asking me questions I probably wouldn't call out my employer saying they don't treat me like a human especially when such claim is outlandish.

Tyler just punched his ticket out of any possible MLB-career with his mouth.

Wanna bet? He'll get another shot...

Stearns' comments immediately afterward indicated an understanding of how tough it is, especially with Cravy being cut right at the end of camp for the 2nd year in a row.

Cravy's follow-up comments a few hours later were all that was needed from him to clear the air -- except maybe in the eyes of the media, who love a good story and would tend to overlook something that smoothes out a rough situation.

I don't love Milone but to me the bigger joke was Cravy being told it was an open competition, yet Barnes pitching terribly most all spring and making the team over him. Yes, Barnes' K & BB numbers were good, but he got shellacked -- ERA of 13.00; 18 H in 9.0 IP.

Wildcat, we all know AAA = Colorado Springs = terrible for pitchers, and Cravy pitched quite well for the Brewers late in the season (2.86 ERA w/ a 1.16 WHIP) which sure carries a lot more weight than his AAA numbers prior to that.

And as Turbo says, I figure Cravy will get another shot -- now w/ Guerra out, possibly a whole lot sooner than anyone expected....

Turns out he has a coke problem and is in rehab. Don't think we want to touch him.

Are you sure you're not confusing him with Ian Khahloa?

Exactly my thought.
