Right now in the Badger game they are reviewing a "targeting" penalty, which they confirmed and then ejected the player. Let this be a warning to replay proponents, it ruins everything.

They ejected a player for tackling a "defenseless receiver" which is code for "playing football". Soon enough we'll see this crap on slides at home too

The guy led with the crown of his helmet. You think they should just let that go?

Yes, its called playing football. It has been going on for generations.

Seems like pitchers still aren't used to the shifts, on the last one Nelson tried to hit the ball with his foot even though Arcia was sitting there waiting.

Players getting hit hard in football cannot be avoided. period. If that is your goal just outlaw the whole thing. There are no preventative measures that you can take to remove hard contact without switching to flag football.

Dusty really fell for that one, no way Nelson was going to hit this inning with 100 pitches. I wonder if because Dusty ignores pitch counts he doesn't realize all the other managers bow down to it.

Ho hum 7 innings, 3 H, 0 ER, 11 K for Jimmy.

Brewers have a really interesting team for a possible post season run ... Nelson, Anderson, Davies might be good enough as is Hader, Swarzak, Knebel. Dear offense .. we know you have it in you. Let's make this a magical season and please show up!

Hader. Shutting up the haters. Unreal talent.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

No reason to remove Hader at all, but of course we have to use the closer in the 9th

If you're Counsell and you just saw Hader pitch like Roger Clemens circa 1986 in the eighth, with Knebel having pitched the past two days... you'd have to be on crack to not send him out again in the ninth.
