Villar having a nice night. Probably trying to do anything not be benched in favor of Sogard anymore.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Dubon just got his first walk of the season and has a handful of errors already on the season. He's hitting better but could probably use some more seasoning time at AAA. My guess is unless an injury happens we won't see him until June/July.

We don’t need another utility infielder. Bring up someone useful.

Fresh bullpen tonight, my guess is we'll see Hader in the 8th if they're still up with hopes for the 2 inning save, but who gets the 7th? Albers?

Wow they're cheering Cain even after he goes yard. I've welcomed some ex-Brewers back but didn't really want them beating us either.

If Hader pitches, it would be third game in four days, one of them being a 2-inning outing. I am guessing we see some combo of Albers, Jennings, and Barnes, with JJ in should a jam arise

If there is a two-inning save op, I think it will be Barnes...

If Hader's available tonight I'd be surprised if we didn't see him for at least an inning in a save situation, but hopefully we can tack on a few against the awful Royals bullpen and make it a moot point.

Cain seems slightly fired up.

Was wondering who he was talking to rounding the bases after that one.

That whole sequence seemed weird. Makes you wonder if Cain will be getting one in the ribs next time he's up.

I am standing up applauding Shaw giving himself up against the tough loogy

I mean, I like the idea and execution, but not sure bunting in front of a guy who strikes out as much as Santana does is exactly a great idea.

And....... right on queue....
