2018-05-26: Mets (Vargas) at Brewers (Anderson) 3:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 17-6]

[topper09er]

If Perez would have laid out he might have had a chance

[bucks2281]

Anderson looking shaky so far

[PinaMadness]

We have allowed 3.6 BB/9 which is right at the NL average

Then the pitching must've been phenomonal early because it seems the last couple weeks have not been so good when it comes to walks.

[topper09er]

We are 2nd in the NL with 47 walks to the leadoff hitter of an inning, only behind ATL with 55.

Good chance we see Woodruff today

Damnit Chase! Walks killing you! Edited May 26, 2018 by adambr2

[Fear The Chorizo]

This is the last thing the staff needs today...get some outs!

[PinaMadness]

Ugh. Don't let this get out of hand this early. I can live with a two run defecit going into the bottom of the inning, but Anderson has his work cut out for him.

[wildcat83]

Good chance we see Woodruff today

At this rate him and pretty much everyone else.

[PinaMadness]

Ok, double play and let's get some runs.

[Eye Black]

Erik Kratz is so old he uses knee savers!

[PinaMadness]

The silver lining is Vargas and his 9.87 ERA is going for the Mets today.

[jason21nl]

What an incredibly annoying inning

[adambr2]

And now he walks Reyes to walk in a run who is even worse than Sogard. Lovely.

Let's not get carried away.

Not blaming this on Chase. Blaming it on our GM who acquired another crap catcher and a manager who decided to catch him a day after acquiring said catcher. Bunch of ding dongs running the show as of late.

[Fear The Chorizo]

Thus will be one of those games I'll check in with about 2 hours from now for my sanity...walks mean runs...throw strikes!

[PinaMadness]

I don't think Anderson's gonna come back from this bad first inning.

[jason21nl]

You’re blaming on the guy who isn’t throwing the ball?

A lot of them in key situations too. Leading off innings in close games.

And to sub .200 hitters as well.

That sure doesn't help, but Anderson just isn't locating. Far more on Chase to execute to me.

[adambr2]

Just can't walk 3 guys in an inning. Can't do it.

Especially when one is to a pitcher quality hitter.

[adambr2]

C'mon Braun. Long ball and we're right back in this.

[wildcat83]

Hey, a walk...
