Gah! What's the point of having great relievers if you don't use them? Two days in a row of questionable bullpen usage. No way should Zagurski have come out for this inning. None.

That's been a Counsell go-to this year as well. Maybe the decision was already made, and Counsell didn't want Stearns to look foolish by DFAing a guy who just pitched a great inning?

Yeah, this is my one big issue with CC. He will pitch anyone when the Crew is trailing. It is like he doesn't believe in keeping games close. I sort of get it, but Z getting ripped by good lefties is awfully predictable...
