2018-09-10: Brewers (Miley) at Cubs (Lester) 7:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 3-2; Hader dominates over 2 IP, & JJ slams the door]

[topper09er]

Leave Hader in. Either way he can't pitch for the rest of the series now. Plus he is hitting .500 this year

[TURBO]

Hahahahahha, heeyyyyy it's Pizza Ranch right on cue!

right?

I thought the same exact thing...

I do enjoy a trip to the ranch though, always leave crammed to the gills.

[StearnsFTW]

Guess not. Lame.

[PinaMadness]

Still would feel better with at least one more run.

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

Well, at least the PH is aboard....

And Hader may be available tomorrow...

[KeithStone53151]

Nah Hader is done today. I wouldn't rule out him being available for an inning on Wednesday.

[Fear The Chorizo]

24 pitches with time off before tonight means Hader is probably available Wednesday night - this is the right move.

[Bulldogboy]

No matter who comes in Cubs are going to be happy to see them.

[LouisEly]

Doubt they will use Hader tomorrow, but he should be available on Wednesday.

[topper09er]

OK, if this was a wildcard game, would CC leave Hader in?

Just wow. Okay, scratch sone insurance and then 3 more outs! Edited September 11, 2018 by Cool Hand Lucroy

Pin h runner for sunday?

[TURBO]

No way we see Hader tomorrow, and probably only a 33% chance on Wednesday.

[SRB]

We're going to need Hader over the rest of the season and into the postseason. Zero reason to push him there.

I doubt it. Jeffress is no slouch, and Knebel has been terrific the last couple weeks. Good options available.

[PinaMadness]

No third inning for Hader. We see what happens when he's extended.

[wallus]

Does Pizza Ranch sell Sol?

Doubt it. If Jeffress is available, no. Otherwise, yes.

[PinaMadness]

Would like him available for Wednesday.

[SRB]

Tim Dillard finally joining the broadcast team?

Yes, but did you just watch the previous 2 innings. Man vs boys out there

[stoutdude04]

Sucks that this isn't the AL or I'm almost certain that Hader would get the 9th.

But I was told the DH has no effect on the overall strategy of the game

Oh, I get it. Tough decision. Glad I'm not the manager.
