good start! How about a wild pitch for the winning run?

Had a cub fan friend of mine. Yes I know an oxymoron... post on FB that looks like Yelich walked 5 times today, there’s a real MVP (sarcastically) , followed it up with Baéz would have gotten 2 homers instead , walks are for wusses.

Baéz would have struck out 3 or 4 times on Yelich’s at bats chasing pitches that were close ... proof is in the pudding!

So your friend is a moron.

Baseball-wise at a minimum.

Kintzler coming in as our spy to blow the division for them....

Technically the Brewers clinched a playoff spot before the Cubs did, correct?

I would say this is correct. If I were in change of baseball stats the first thing I would do is add a win to the Brewers at which point we clinched a spot. The second thing I would do is add a loss to the Cardinals which then would make the Cubs clinch.

They got away with using Jaime Garcia in a high leverage situation? That cancels out the Bartman and the error...

I’ve seen it all over my feed tonight , they are trolling Brewers fans. Even after I’m sure many of us tipped our caps when they won it all. They just seem to be genuinely sad people. And scared. I love being where we are right now. It’s exciting to be the hot team at the end for once.

Harold Reynolds is such a fogey. He LOVES it when some modern-day strategy or technique doesn't work. He gloats when someone beats the shift.

That gif of Uecker celebrating in the locker room will live on long after he's gone.

Harold Reynolds is such a tool when it comes to the shift. He won't ever give it credit for an out but every single time it fails he makes sure to bring it up and blame the shift for the hit.

Yes to all. I'm fortunate enough to have exactly 3 Cub fan friends.

So Ive heard. Thats why he doesnt like the Brewers, and still doesnt believe in them. Because they dont have 5 starters that give you 7 every night.

part of me wants the Pirates to take the lead here...part of me wants to take this game to around 16 innings and have the Pirates win it at around 1:30 am.

Like the Cubs pen could pitch scoreless ball for seven more innings.

I will never be able to repay you for this.
