Brewers pet names

My fiancé and I picked up a couple parakeets. The blue one I named Seitzer. It was between that and Cirillo but she shot that down on account of the fact that there’s a notorious bootlegger in town who goes by the same handle, albeit a different spelling. I bet there’s other Brewers fans with pets named after the team or players. I’m curious to hear about any other creatures that are cast into Brewers fandom by way of namesake.

Current dog's name is Bernie. Both for Bernie Brewer and because he's a Bernese Mountain Dog. We also had a dog named Uecker.

My dogs name is also Bernie. He is a Australian Shepherd, but is black/brown/white so also has the name because he looks like a Bernese Mountain dog...just smaller. Obviously also for Bernie Brewer.

My neighbor got a new dog and called it Gomez. Not very fitting though because it is docile, slow, and no antics.

I heard on the radio Robin Yount has a dog named Uecker. I foster dogs and the last one that got adopted was renamed Brewer.

I had a dog in the 80's named "Cecil" for obvious reasons... Haven't owned a pet since, but if I did, it would surely have a Brewer reference name...

My dogs name is Uecker. It’s been a great name. Soon to be five year old English Springer Spaniel.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm sorry, what? Bootleggers are still a thing?

Out here, yes. Most of the surrounding village communities are dry, per local option law. Even in town there are bootleggers who sell jugs after hours at double or triple price. In villages I’ve heard a fifth can cost upwards of $200. It’s insane.

It's not Brewers but I know a ton of people with Packer pets. That being said, I vote somebody name their next pet Yuni

I had a buddy whose dog was named Molly. His wife thought it was a cute name for a girl dog. He never told her it was named after Paul Molitor.

That's awesome! It's been a good name. I also like it because of Weekend at Bernie's!

Some great pet names on here. Love it!

I named one of our cats Rob after Rob Deer. We named his brother Frank, which I suppose could be partly due to onetime Brewer Frank Catalanotto, but is also due in part to Frank Kaminsky. They were born in April 2015.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

My now 21 year old son has named his dog Cecil after listening to countless stories of my favorite player growing up even though he never saw Cooper play.

Guess I did at least one thing right in raising him.
