Hoping Hirua can get it going soon. Has not looked great against velocity so far and he is going to get it today. Funny how all of a sudden this lineup without Braun looks pretty sad again.

Yelich with the first inning HR that hits the top of the wall.

Dont wanna say it should have been caught, but it probably should have been caught.

Wow, so much talk about Hiura staying when Shaw is healthy (hypothetically) and it seems the real question is can he even make it that long without getting sent down for playing so poorly.

Yeah Brewers fans have seen prospects like Braun and Fielder over the years come up and rake. Even the Harts and Hardy's did ok. This is more the usual where the guy appears overmatched. Hope he hangs in there.

I didn't expect Hiura to rake immediately at this level, but I thought there was a possibility that he might. So that's been disappointing.

Still, it's a ridiculously small 20 AB sample size. Long-term, he's going to be fine. Short-term, he hasn't done enough to stay up with the MLB club when Shaw returns unless he really gets it going in the next week or so.

I haven’t seen him make contact with a good fastball yet, how can he not hit a FB?

Was Folty really barking at that 3rd strike?

#1, you're a pitcher. You think you'd want those calls too.

#2, it was easily a strike.

I think he was just asking a question, didn't seem like he was really arguing as the ump was just nodding in agreement with him.
