You HAVE to bring Grandal and Moose back, don't you??

If they can keep one I'll be thrilled. I can't imagine they'll be able to keep both.

Moose is going to be looking for that 4 year 70 million dollar deal he's been looking for the last couple offseasons, only this time he's going to get it from someone.

Is that really good? I have a hard time getting my head around a corner outfielder or 1B getting a huge boost in WAR from defense. The bWAR between the two is 6.0 to 4.2 right now yet offensively they are pretty similar.

To put it in perspective the next closest corner outfielder is Mookie Betts with 10, then David Peralta with 6. So yeah, he's just so far ahead of everyone else that it helps him value wise.

Thanks, I guess if he is the best corner outfielder in baseball in makes a little more sense. I thought Yelich was supposed to be pretty good though and he is a negative player there.

Can they afford to keep both? Of course. Will they nope. Two different things. I vote Grandal.

Machado had two of the weirdest looking singles you'll ever see both in the same game.

That's one of those things that happens and then the whole inning unravels. You could see it unfolding as it happened with 5 guys just converging on one spot.

Bill with a nice dig on Machado

I know we’re talking about the antithesis of Johnny Hustle, but I am not sure how many major leaguers would have busted out of the box on that one and taken second.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I would think a pitcher would be more mentally tough after an unfortunate misplay, but it's amazing how often something like that can cause big trouble.

I know, I know... hindsight and all, but only allowing Hader to pitch the back end of games (8th and 9th) is starting to cost them.
Not just “at Night” anymore.
