This is quite simply the least fun 1st place team I can remember. I am so frustrated watching this team this season. Yes they are in 1st place but man I do not enjoy watching them play. I can't put my finger on it...it's hard to say they are underachieving as a team with being in first but individually it seems as if 90% of the roster is underachieving individually (Cain, Shaw, Aguilar). Is there any one on the team actually overachieving this year? Seems like this might be a reflection on coaching (not Counsell).

It’d be totally cool with me if I never saw that Wisconsin Vision commercial with Coshun and Augustine again.

One in particular.

Yea frankly I'm shocked they're in 1st. I guess the positive spin is that if they ever do get their head on straight they should win the division easily.

I agree most nights they’re not very fun to watch. When they hit a bunch of home runs they usually win.outside Yelich they don’t really hit for average, they don’t hit a lot of extra base hits but for homers. On the pitching side after Woodruff their starters are always working from behind, and the middle relief consistently leaks runs

Pina is great defensively, but I’d rather have Nottingham as our backup at this point.

I always thought the "we're still in 1st!" battle cry in the middle of summer is a little bit hollow and meaningless.

We constantly harped on this in 2017 and it meant nothing. In 2018 I think we were at least 5 games out in September and ended up winning the division.

First place in a tight division at this point in the season is completely and utterly meaningless other than being a talking point.

I would even be ok with Grandal or even Thames. Just not many great options.

I do not want Thames or Grandal leading off and clogging up the bases ahead of Yelich if they do get on.

No matter what order you put them in, a lineup with only 3 productive hitters isn’t going to produce a lot of runs on a consistent basis.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The Brewers supposedly weaker part of the schedule is proving to be anything but. The Padres came into this series with confidence after scoring a ton of runs in Colorado and they’ve taken it to the Brewers. Now the Reds will come in after sweeping the Astros and looking at a golden opportunity to move into the playoff picture with 8 games before the All Star Break against the struggling Brewers.

In my opinion he's a guy who needs to spend every day at AAA and develop. You have to determine if he can be the guy next year because Grandal may not be back. You can't evaluate that when he's playing sparingly here, backup catcher just isn't much of a gig with Grandal as the starting catcher.

If this road trip has done anything positive for my mental well-being, it’s that I am continuing to be more impressed with Adrian Houser.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Shaw needs to go away. This is not doing him any good. The team any good. His loved ones. Anyone watching this. He does t belong on this team or the majors right now

Just seen him down and have him work on things

This is t helping one bit

If Stearns does not make a move on him by the time this team is back in Milwaukee, then Shaw has something on Stearns, I think. It's inexplicable to keep putting up with his miserable bat.

Dang. Braun you need more launch angle and this ones tied up!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
