Glad Burnes is down. Being the last man in the pen with irregular appearances isn't going to do anything for him.

The batting order really doesn’t matter if you’re going to give up 10 runs a game and put 5 or more automatic outs in the lineup.

The Cubs haven’t exactly been tearing it up lately, though their pattern has typically been to ramp it up in the second half of the season.

Changing the batting order didn’t do anything to stop the flood of first inning runs by the opponent. The Brewers could go an entire 4 game series being behind every time they come to bat.

"Me" says, "Nooooooooooooooooooooo!" Shaw does not need anymore humiliation. Brewers fans do need need any more frustration. That's how I see this situation.

Chacin should be able to fetch at least a case of Old Style at the deadline, provided we're willing to pick up most of his price tag.

I'm sure our big roster move tomorrow will be to option Wilkerson and recall Smith. Clearly getting the 25th man correct is the only thing wrong.

Does DS just keep recycling the same old guys from AAA to the bigs?? Aaron Wilkerson is a nobody. Ist here anyone else down there that he could call up?? Oh, and his statement about the better pitching needing to come from in house..yeah okay DS. We have seen enough to know they arent capable of pitching better. Sounds to me like a GM that's afraid to make a move...a BIG move.
