All that freaking noise sounds like a high school football game in which the home team has an enrollment of 124 kids.

After tomorrow. The A’s need to get hot. Cards and cubs coming up

Shouldn't be too difficult - they are a better team than anyone in the NL Central right now...

No more extra inning games - don't want to wear out their staff. Beat them twice - tick them off, but do it quickly too.

This is absolutely stunning because I watch a lot of games with the game cast on to see pitch location after the fact. He's had prolonged bouts of swinging at garbage for at least the last 3 years where he went in the tank. The moment he started taking bad pitches he got hot.

His OSwing% (% swung at pitch outside the zone) the last three years:

2017 38%

2018 36.3%

2019 38.9%

He's been above 36% since 2014.

I looked up “does not instill confidence” in the dictionary

And there was Jeremy jeffress pitcure

He instills confidence in the hitters.

Starting to wonder if JJ makes it to the end of the year.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Hey, that is part of my old high school conference... It was the Southern 8 when I was in high school though, no idea how those teams are all split up these days. I went to Platteville.

Barf JJ .... pure barf. His stuff has been so hittable this year.

His breaking stuff must be so easy to see - not a lot of bite.

The bullpen pitching well and shortening games (for the most part) felt like such a huge advantage last year and a very important element of the team’s success. This year has been much more of a “hold your breath and hope” type of experience.
Not just “at Night” anymore.
