I’ve seen enough from Nottingham to have him be the RH part of the catching equation next year.

 

His defense has been a very nice surprise. He's solid at least back there, if not a standout. He's really managed to defy the criticism that he wasn't a good defender.

 

He'll probably struggle to give you a .240 batting average, but he's got a nice power stroke.

Grisham just took Kershaw deep to tie their game versus the Dodgers if anyone cares. Also had an incredible bat flip to go with it...

Sending Yardley back out shows a pretty big lack of trust in Knebel. I assumed that he was looking better judging by the reports of his performance in Appleton. It would be nice to get him some innings at some point to see if he can be an asset in a potential playoff series.

I'm not saying the trade was lost and we'll have to wait and see on Urias but the 2020 Brewers + Davies and Grisham would be a playoff lock rather than an outside bubble team.
