Pitt QB3 Beville played ok, put in a really tough position after the injury to their backup. The amount of camera time the broadcast gave to Pickett was super annoying. Dude didn't wanna play, why did Pitt provide him with travel and seating? (or did he travel on his own?)

SEC 1-5 in bowls to this point. I realize guys arent playing, but I was not/am not impressed with the SEC this year. I'm hoping for a Cincy Michigan title game. On a different note, I wonder if we will see a larger playoff just to see the better players stick around for their bowl games, or are these bowl game going to have to start paying players instead of the schools?

Maybe some of the "over the table" NIL money will require them to participate in the bowl game?

I doubt schools will require players to play in a bowl game. They get their money just for being selected and not winning the game. It's also a chance to get a look at the next players up against some quality competition risk free. If they lose, oh well. If they win, oh well. NOW if players opt out of playing in the playoff, then you would see more noise and changes.

Yeah Cincy is doing about as good as you could realistically hope for. Now I’m hoping for a bunch of fluky luck to get them ahead.

It’s hard to imagine Bearcats getting to the end zone unless a couple bama defenders run into each other or something.

Admittedly I've only started watching at the start of the second half, but cinci doesn't look overrated to me. Though maybe it's because I was expecting them to get crushed.

Cincy had a couple opportunities to make it a one score game, but they don't have the athletes to stay on the field with 11 future NFL guys.

I don’t know. I’ve seen plenty of good football this season. There’s always somebody at the top. Michigan can still lose today, that’ll never stop being entertaining.

I root for all big 10 teams aside from michigan and ohio state who I never root for regardless of circumstances. I broke kayfabe and rooted for osu once in my life, the Maurice Clarett championship. And I had to take a long shower afterwards. Never again.

Two semis blowouts and an SEC Championship between Alabama and one out of the other four teams that had any chance to be in it, while the rest of the NCAA gets to feel good about things like a Paul Bunyan axe or a Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Championship. I can hardly contain my excitement for this wonderful product.

I think the playoff has proven that the old way probably wasn't all that broken. Yeah it lead to some seasons where there was some controversy, but this isn't all that better (if at all)

I just wish they'd fix the tremendous recruiting advantage that some schools have and create some parity within the system. I admit I really have no idea how that can or should be accomplished.
