1.5 games in and Bucks still don’t look like a team hungry and on a mission for a championship.

 

I think we can put the hunger stuff to bed. This team came back from down 0-2 and 3-2 to KD and won 2 games without Giannis in the ECF.

 

Usually the "will to win" isn't enough. Sometimes the other team is better.

 

So when I go bowling this weekend, I can't just bowl a 300 game simply because I want to?

I was worried about PHX from the start of the playoffs should the Bucks win the East (which I never thought would happen) mostly for silly reasons, such as them beating us twice when they were terrible in '19, and the two 1-pt losses this year. But I thought they were a good team and was hoping Utah or Denver or someone random would come out of the West. Obviously a non-zero chance means things aren't over, but I think we may be overmatched here. I think we pretty much have to steal this one somehow. I just can't see another 0-2 comeback against these guys.

Its really not much more than the fact Middleton and holiday are playing terribly on the offensive end so far this series...same goes for the losses they had against the hawks or nets - if they play well as a whole the bucks beat anyone, if they don't they lose to anyone because giannis can't just take a game over offensively.

Not the only issue, but Giannis' free throw struggles are a huge reason the Bucks have issues going on extended runs...and if the suns are going to shoot over 50 percent from 3 they have no chance.
