Brad Davison and Grayson Allen playing within 60 miles of each other next season? That might be too much whiney for one state.

I can totally see them playing a clandestine game of one on one in like Watertown or something at midnight on some random Tuesday when there's a full moon. Maybe even a slight drizzle to make it that much more cinematic.

Settle the score once & for all.

The Allen trade really did put a nice bow on what the Bucks were able to do with limited resources- resigning Bobby, bringing in Hill and Allen, adding two developmental 2nd rounders, and a couple of vet minimum guys to try out for bench minutes seems like a really successful offseason, all things considered.

I agree. Anyone with realistic expectations should be content. Despite major cap constraints, the defending champs brought back 7 of their top 8 players, including their Big 3. They’ll also have opportunities to address needs later via trade or buy out like they have in the past with PJ Tucker, Marvin Williams, and Pau Gasol.

But how can the Lakers just keep signing guys?

As expected, new rule changes were approved to crack down on players trying to draw fouls. Great for the Bucks, since Giannis and the rest of the regulars won't be hurt by this.

That’s also me. :)

Nwora with 30pts, 8rebs, 6asts and 1stl in the first summer league game.

The draft pick Sandro Mamukelashvili with 11pts, 12rebs, 4asts, 1stl and 1blk.

Bucks win 81 - 78

I was pretty happy with the Nwora pick last year. Seemed like a player with an NBA quality skill (shooting) and good athletic upside for the rest. Very low release point on his shot, but a quick trigger. Hopefully his D will improve this year and he gets more time.

Mamukelashvili reminds me of Brooks inside a bit- body type and movements.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

keeping these 2nd round picks and drafting older players makes sense. Bucks may have hit on another one in Sandro. Atleast i like what he did in college and brings an interesting skill set to the team

I'm good with our off season. Would I liked to have had Tucker back? Yes. But I understand the finances of things. So be it. Tucker's age and limited offensive output was a bit concerning as well. No matter, I would have liked him back - but it is not to be.

I think we are better team that last year. Allen and Hill are better than Augustine/Forbes/Teague. Bringing back Portis is awesome. We are essentially nine deep with Giannis, Lopez, Middleton, Holiday, DDV, Portis, Hill and Allen.

And we'll see how Hood and Semi fit in. And it will be good to give Nwora a chance to play more often. He's an interesting player.

I think we are deeper than last year - which is good. I want to see our rotation deeper in the regular season. Last year was a lot of adjustments - and while I think that will continue - it won't be some dramatic. The core guys have played together for a year and know their jobs. Let's see how the bench comes along and keep experimenting with things.

Should be fun.

Yes, I have to agree. Given our cap constraints that was much better than I expected.

Not 100% Bucks related, but The Clippers are trading Patrick Beverley, Rajon Rondo and Daniel Oturu to the Grizzlies for guard Eric Bledsoe. There must be more to this trade than a three for one. This seems like a huge overpay for Bledsoe.

Yeah, Clippers were carrying 16 guaranteed contracts so the 3 for 1 gives them some flexibility. Also only needed to deal Beverly/Oturu to match salaries, so Clips get an 8.25 million trade exception for Rondo & a lower tax bill.

Kawhi is probably out for the season rehabbing his ACL, so the cap & roster ramifications are more important than Bledsoe's on court play for the Clips.

I don't believe Kawhi would even play with Bledsoe. He had problems with Beverly as the PG so I am assuming he would also have an issue with Bledsoe.

George probably loses the most here as Bledsoe doesn't really help him at all either. Seems like the Clippers are just a poorly ran organization from top to bottom.

No surprise.

Pretty happy with the offseason.

my only beef, is one that I can't even beef about was the trading of the draft pick, but they got a pretty good shooter off of the bench for those 2 picks, which is more valuable than the 31st pick in the draft. They did really well. I think the east is a little deeper this year, but it should come down to the nets and bucks again for the right to go to the finals.

he was horrible in Memphis, yes its a name, but terrible trade for Clippers. I'm sure its 3 for 1 because salaries have to match up.

He actually played for New Orleans last year, and was traded to Memphis earlier this month. Beverley struggled with injuries last season, and Rondo is so inconsistent and towards the end of his career as well.

I don't mind Bledsoe as a 6th man type player, he can at least defend and provide some scoring.
