Taylor looked totally lost in his two ABs, but never good to see him pulled. Brewers clearly committed to an off day for Yelich if Peterson is the sub. Fine with that

Just tuning into the TV broadcast, have they said anything about the Colbert skits? Sounds like Brett Anderson and other players were upset he was delaying play earlier.

 

From Todd Rosiak:

 

A two-out, two-RBI triple to RF by Lane Thomas gives Washington a 2-0 lead in the fourth.

 

And that was all preceded by some on-field schtick by Stephen Colbert that Anderson and other players clearly didn't find entertaining.

 

And then Rosiak added this:

 

Some sort of comedy bit that dragged on and left the players to all have to stand there and watch while he was trying to wrap up.
