Reyes better not be sniffing this team at this time of year. Gross.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I surely hope there is no return of Pablo Reyes is Escobar lands on the DL

Agreed. Call up another pitcher.

Sorry they have to call up an infielder……not going to play with only 3 bench players….1 being a catcher.

Right now all they have is Jace, Bradley and Manny if Escobar goes on IL which means Rowdy and Urias start.

Who would you rather have who is in the minors…..on the 40 man roster and can play infield?

No good options left down there unfortunately…….unless I’m missing someone?

I’d take Keston easily before Reyes.

I said it in jest, but honestly Shaw wouldn’t be the worst guy to have around right now, even to use as a defensive replacement at 1B as well.

All Pina does is get on base.

His .275 OBP would actually be fine if it wasn’t anchored by a .175 average. A 100 point difference is really nice. Just doesn’t hit much anymore.

I guess that’s possible but when you have 2 guys who are bad hitters you take the better and more versatile defender.

I guess we will see

I’ll take a guy who might actually hit the ball. We are carrying enough dead weight (Cain, JBJ, Pina) that we need some pop on that bench.

If Hiura hasn’t been dead weight this year I don’t know what else you’d call him?

Anyway……doesn’t matter what you would do or I would do……only thing that matters is what Stearns a CC think is best.

My guess is that will be Reyes but with only bad options nothing would surprise me.

Hoby Milner in to face the heart of the lineup. Probably going to see he Nats cut into the lead here.

Sold cold taking right there. Nice work.

That's why I said probably.
