Good AB by Lo Cain all things considered. That change up is really giving the boys problems. He had a couple nasty tailing changes to Rowdy but flattened it up vs Renfroe and Cain and got the same results. Hopefully next time through they can see it more clearly and get that timing down.

There was maybe one or two times all last year where his cutter wasn't working. Kinda alarming it's not on Day One of this season.

Corbin clearly doesn't have his cutter or his location today but he's fighting and slogging through for now. These conditions suck across the board. On to inning 3.

It baffles me how much opposing pitchers nibble around the edges when pitching to Jace Peterson. He'd strike me as the type of guy you shouldn't be afraid to give up hard contact to.
