If Alexander can get through one more inning against what will be the 8-9-1 part of the Cubs order, I will be absolutely ecstatic.

I'd have a quick hook, but I think he can get through 6.

Holy crap! Ball beat him by 5 feet and he missed the tag... I hate the send but whatever, I'm laughing and cheering.

5??? Try doubling that.

Cain is unwatchable

Both he & Yelich had one great game in an otherwise disappointing season

Yelich has certainly been better than Cain … but together they earn $44M this year … which I’d love to have for adding a bat or two

even with two outs.

yes. the other team can always make an error.  I'm not sure if a runner needs to be on.

We all knew that year 5 of the Cain contract would be rough but I never guessed it would be this bad. For the money it has to be one of the worst contracts in baseball this year.

If I were the Brewers, I'd look into trading for Kevin Kiermaier from the Rays. Would eliminate any concerns about jettisoning Cain and his "glove".

And Jason Heyward steps up to leadoff the 5th with a wave out for one of the worst contracts for 2022.

It could be worse. Hayward is making $22M, and the same next year.
