It was .390, which is far from a guaranteed hit, compared to Alfaro's, which had a .990 XBA. But, let's be honest, you don't really care. You're just trying to mess with me, which is pretty pathetic, dude.

I’m not trying to mess with you. I’m just calling out things you say that I disagree with, which is what you do with regularity with many posters on this board.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Hiura is basically an auto out against lefties at this point and so is Cain and Cutch and Yelich and.......

Brosseau. 826 ops vs lefties, .747 last year

Forgot Urias right now. I have been happy with the start but reality has set in for me. Good playoff pitching this team doesn't have the bats to win. Sorry. A deal must be made

Having Adames and Renfroe, our two best hitters this year, would certainly help.

Especially with a lefty going, Id love to have their bats in the lineup instead of Hiura and Yelich

Where is the contradiction?

And what’s with the “dude” crap?

Would they help yeah for sure. They hitting the Mets or Dodgers pitching?? I don't believe it man. Hope i'm wrong but thinking not. Just not enough line movers with the current group. Now if they make a deal it could help.

"I'm not messing with you, I'm just going to try to find a reason to disagree with everything you post  and be quite bombastic/sarcastic/argumentative in doing so." And, why? Does that hurt your feelings?

I love Adames … but he was hitting .208 when he went on the IL … he’d been in a slide for a few weeks

He did have the 9 HRs & lots of energy, but his bat was quite cold

Yeah, not quite sure why he wasn't in the lineup tonight.

Yelich in left and him DHing seemed like the move if they wanted to keep Peterson at 3rd

Yeah, that’s exactly what I said.

Just quit it dude. You're making a fool of yourself and clogging up the in-game thread.

Batting average doesn't matter these days. .767 OPS, 1.1 WAR, and led all shortstops in home runs. We need more of that, less Cain, McCutchen, etc.

The weird thing right now is Counsell is hitting his two worst hitters leadoff and 3rd to ensure they get the most ab in a game. Can someone please help me understand this??

I’m old (61) …batting average will always matter to me ???

Sorry that I questioned that Renfroe would have caught Hosmer’s drive to the gap.

I’m done clogging up the thread.
