The defense just seems so bad this year compared to years previous.

It's almost like the baseball gods are saying if you're going to do something stupid enough like getting picked off first base as a trail runner it's going to cost you runs the next half inning.

The strike zone needs to be automated yesterday. I don't care what anyone else says about the "human element". Modern MLB umps are ruining the game.

I know we have 100 games to play, but injuries aside … I feel like the 2022 team is worse in all three phases (pitching, hitting, defense) than the 2021 team

It's largely the same guys aside from Peralta being injured until August and Cain going downhill. I still have hope.

Ashby isn’t missing any bats tonight, so another game of needing the bottom of the bullpen to keep the game close. That hasn’t been working well.

I’m curious to see De Jesus’ results on umpire scorecard tomorrow.  His performance had reminded me of Frank Drebin’s strike zone from the Naked Gun.

IMO if the Brewers get swept here in DC you might see a change in management.  CC or DS.  DS can go he is on an expiring contract and the METS so much would love his services when he becomes available (I live in NY area that's all you here these days) Trade a SP because teams would love to get a SP and give up some talent.  Crap I;d take a .260 batter right now.and maybe an outfielder who knows how to play baseballs.

I don’t want to hear anyone (Brewers players or manager) - after another loss - downplay things & suggest “we’ll be okay … this is just a difficult stretch”  

I’ll admit I’m a fan of the fiery “Earl Weaver type” manager & players who get hacked off & express their frustration 

Something must change … this borders on 2002 bad baseball
