Sanchez better learn how to throw strikes.

That DP was welcome.

In the category of never taking anything for granted I was watching the end of a game earlier this year where the Phillies were cruising with a 7-1 lead against the Mets.

in the 9th the Mets got a few men on and scored a couple runs so the Phils brought in Knebel to close it out. He got shelled and the Mets won 8-7.

Don’t want to let these guys get started.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yeah it would be nice to win without breaking a sweat.

I would like to see Urias turn into the player he was in the minors; a high average contact hitter who hits 10-15 HRs vs this low average hitter that has sold out for power.

To be honest, I don't really care about batting average. What I care about is on base and slugging. In that sense, last season was just fine for Urias, and hopefully is something he can build on going forward.

Also, congrats to CC on his record breaking win. No doubt the greatest manager in franchise history. Next step is bringing a World Series to Milwaukee. If he can do that, things like statues and jersey retirements will follow.

Who says pastors can't have fun in the bedroom. ?

High praise from Buck. Too bad Jason Alexander isn't pitching in this series. Would be quite the Seinfeld "reunion". Plus, Seinfeld himself is usually in attendance...

Cardinals lose! Bryan Reynolds with the 2-run homer to break a 4-4 tie and David Bednar shuts Goldschmidt and co. down for the last 2 2/3. Let's just say I'd be happy with either of those two dudes on the Brewers....

Lost my cable last night due to the storm.  Figures, when they're winning...

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.
