Huira's kryptonite continues to be anything at the belt.

His Kryptonite is pitching. The 2nd time he struck out they simply went up in the zone and he missed it.

I love this team (historically) as much as anyone on this forum

That said … I don’t enjoy watching this 2022 team play games … I’m constantly frustrated & often in a bad mood by the middle of the game

It’s super boring, a bunch of ground outs and strike outs. The pitching has to be near perfect for them to have a chance.

Unpopular opinion … as I communicated last week, I believe the Cards are the better team … especially with our starting pitching & defense taking a significant step back this year … & then add in all the injuries … I’m concerned this may not be a race come late season

They have a massive lineup advantage. Bullpens as a whole are about even. When healthy Brewer probably have a stronger rotation.

I prefer not to use foul language, but why is Kelley on this team … How can I see he is incapable & Brewers brass keep putting him out there in important games … that irks me beyond words

The cardinals have guys who can actually hit the ball.   At some point that will be enough to win the division.  Even if they aren’t that great.   2/3 of their lineup would be our best hitte

we have a bunch of Dave kingmans  without the power

We need to get healthy bottom line. 2 of the top pitchers in baseball being out really hurts us, combined with the recent swoons from Lauer and Houser. We saw the formula for winning on Monday. We have two other pitchers who are capable of performances like that. Unfortunately, they're both hurt, though one will likely be back next week. Cards aren't a perfect team either....

Anybody know why Adames is sitting out tonight ? I mean  , we are playing a division rival for first place!

Because it's still June? And Adames just returned from the IL....

So , that means he has had plenty of time off . just because its early doesn't mean these games don't count.

Aside from two appearances against the Cubs and the Phillies, in which he gave up four runs each, he's actually been pretty solid. He now hasn't allowed a run in his last four appearances....
