Unbelievably this team has zero above average everyday major league players currently Adames probably is closest to it at this point and is a keeper. Everyone else is expendable and should be shopped.

If you take away Davis and his extremely small sample size we don't have one other hitter in tonights lineup with an average over .250.

Adams is going to be rocking an under .200 average soon

For those who don't have time to follow the games, you can usually tell if the Brewers are winning or not by logging on here to see who is/isn't posting.

Its pretty much the same people win or lose but don't let the facts get in the way of your bitterness that it isn't sunshine and rainbows when the team plays poorly.

No, especially if you include volume of posts. BTW, I just posted a comment 15 min ago that disparaged Houser, and ridiculed Counsell.

Balance.

What do you consider Renfroe? Adames leads the majors in home runs by a SS and plays good defense so he’s definitely above average. Peterson has been above average this year….

No it’s not, because you’re never on here when the Brewers are ahead or winning. And nobody is here for sunshine and rainbows. But when you call human beings “garbage cans” that crosses a line.

I was in the game thread yesterday so you are wrong as usual.

Yeah I would include Renfroe but since he was out tonight I didn't include him. I acknowledge Willie although I beleve he may be overvalued by Brewers fans because we have nothing else. If you go though mlb there are probably 12 to 15 guys that I would probably consider over him.

I think Adames is like a great many players today, in that there are some really impressive skills that may never come to full fruition due to way too many K's.

Id take the Cards - Edman over him by a mile.

Three true outcomes and shooting 50 three pointers a game needs to die a quick death.    It’s amazing how it’s made American sports unwatchable

I was a big proponent of sabermetrics early on, but now I despise it with a passion and this is one of the main reasons.

A sub .250 batting average is bad. I can tolerate .220 to .250 if the OBP is at least .320, but without that or gold glove worthy defense, those types should be on the bench, even if they have power.

I would too, but you're talking about a kid who, at his age, shows not only ability but  the plate discipline of an eight-year vet. AND was moved at a young age from 2B to SS w/o missing a beat. That's a real high bar.

Yep and you are always right as we all know. And by the way, scrolling through yesterday’s game thread I notice that almost all of your posts came right after the Brewers got in a 2-0 hole in the first inning and then pretty much taper off after the Taylor home run. Someone actually pointed this out and your excuse was, “work”, despite the fact that you were posting so much earlier in the game. Then, you come on todays’s thread and proceed to call one of our players a “garbage can” when there’s already been several warnings about using that terminology….

I agree, except I was NEVER much of a sabermetrics guy. Some of that stuff has it's place but it's gotten way too obsessive IMO.

We clearly don't agree on anything so its time to stop interacting with each other altogether. I will take the first step by not posting in another game thread the rest of the season since you are so bothered by differing opinions.

Calling another human being a “garbage can” is not an opinion. It’s just wrong.

Yeah, I don't mind having one or two Joey Gallo types in a lineup, even one more light hitting but excellent defensive infielder in the 8 or 9 spot would be OK....but the rest of the line up should be able to hit at least .260
