Directions:

From I-90/94 Southbound: Take Hwy. 151 north toward Sun Prairie. Turn right on Nelson Rd. and right again on High Crossing Blvd. You'll find us on your left on the east side of the road.

 

From I-90/94 Northbound: Exit High Crossing Blvd. Turn right and you will find us on your right (east side of road.)

 

 

Go here and search for Pooley's.

This place is virtually in Sun Prairie, but a Madison address here means non-smoking, correct?

And the Pooley's website cites a non-smoking section, so it's not all smoke free. I believe it's officially in the town of Burke (if not that, some other neighboring municipality that is not subject to the city ordinance).

Out of towners, I thought Pooley's made a lot of sense for you in particular. It's close to the interstate, easy to find, and also close to some hotels if you think you may need to avoid driving.

 

This should be fun, Pooley's is a decent sports bar with room for plenty of us.

I'll bump this up to point out that the bf.net Winter Meeting is one month from tonight. Thirty-one short days! (and in terms of daylight hours, they are short days)

Is anyone planning on coming in from the Apple-ton/Fox Cities area? I was thinking about going down, and I'm not much of a drinker, so if anyone is willing to throw in a couple bucks to cover gas, I'm willing to drive a few people down and be a DD for those coming back to the Apple-ton area afterwards...

Seriously -- I am coming in from up north --- I can drive people to and from the event if rides are needed -- I'd be happy to pick people up in Madison if needed, if you are thinking about having a couple of drinks, or don't have wheels. -- I have a van.
