Man has McCutchen been bad over the last month.

Seems to struggle with big velocity. Especially near the belt.

Burnes seems to have at least one inning a start that the pitch count gets run up and he just cant put guys away.

How big are those games Counsell just pissed away with really poor decision making looking now? 

I don’t know what’s worse-making the playoffs, and getting totally spanked, or missing them altogether.

Making the post season is a moral victory, I suppose, but they really don’t mean much unless you make a serious run at a title.

Four of the top six in our lineup have OBPs of .303, .310, .311 and .308.

I just can’t wrap my head around that.

Burnes giving up 3 runs in the first four innings and a bomb home run.    Pretty standard stuff these last couple of months
