Yeah, ok. But do you even remember the 90’s?  How I grew up through that and didn’t give up on the franchise entirely is a minor miracle to me.  That’s why I won’t go that far.

I do remember the 90s.    The brewers were terrible but life was better.    I’d go back in a second

Fair enough, my friend. I’m wishing you better days.

What amateur league are the Reds getting these players?

Gibaut looks like he came straight from the Hamilton County Penal League.

Did he throw at his own kid in a father-son game?

Yes, but the court mandated paternity test results weren't in until after the game.

I'd rather roll it back to the late 70s/early 80s.

I could run like the wind, the music was great, decent beer was cheap and plentiful and best of all....tube tops!

Phillies up 9-0 late ...

Padres up 2-1 early ...

This doesn’t really rhyme.     Unless you are a modern day rappers who are beyond terrible

Well.   Early 80s the brewers were good

A very typical 2 for 12 with RISP or this would be a route.

They bat .241 as a team, so you'd expect them to bat less than 3 for 12 (.250). It (2-12) is probably their median for that many at bats.

Indeed... I was just out of high school in 82 and went to a few games that year. Remember watching Gorman Thomas and Ben oglvie going back to back with one of them being Grand slam at one game.

The 78 and 79 Brewers were two of the franchise’s best and most entertaining  teams in an era when half of the teams in the league weren’t tanking. They won 93 and 95 games.

Unfortunately they only allowed one team from each division into the playoffs and the Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, and Tigers all had good teams too.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If they homered back to back, obviously the first one was the slam.

WHAT WAS THAT WONG?!

That's happened way too often this year.

Get your feet on the ground and it's probably a double play anyways.
