If they homered back to back, obviously the first one was the slam.

Obviously but I don't remember who hit the first one.

Indeed... I was just out of high school in 82 and went to a few games that year. Remember watching Gorman Thomas and Ben oglvie going back to back with one of them being Grand slam at one game.

1987 brewers were one of my favorite teams of all time.   One of the most exciting season that didn’t end up as a playoff team

13-0.     Molitor hit streak.    Nieves no hitter

Thanks, Atlanta. It wasn’t enough to directly end our season last year, you have to do your darndest to indirectly end it this year?  And after stealing our franchise to boot?  Go pound sand.

We ended our season all by our lonesome.

They bat .241 as a team, so you'd expect them to bat less than 3 for 12 (.250). It (2-12) is probably their median for that many at bats.

2 for 15 against the Reds is pretty bad.

Swinging and missing at a pitch that hits you is pretty embarrassing.

Except when you are Albert Pujols, I guess.  Then it’s ok.

Played with a kid in high school that bunt fouled a way inside pitch straight into his mouth full of braces.

For the season, they are batting .251 with RISP, which is higher than their overall average. So usually they do better than expected.

This doesn’t really rhyme.     Unless you are a modern day rappers who are beyond terrible

It wasn't rhyme time, BUT now it is!

Reds not worth a dime, BUT Brewers know how it is!

Just nasty changeups from Devin, there. Half-way to a sweep. Let's go Rockies!

He looked sharp....especially considering the layoff.
