That was a great job by the ump of just giving Bush a warning to let the hitter get ready rather than just calling an auto-ball. Actually evaluating the situation and using proper discretion.

Turang is a fantastic baseball player. Yes he will struggle at the dish here and there but his D is so so good.

He can draw a lot of walks, so he is a solid option.

There are some real bad teams in baseball this year.

we haven’t played any of them yet

Hopefully the Cardinals remain one of them.

This start to the season by the Pirates and the Cubs is impressive

I just saw with the Cruz injury the Pirates called up ol' Brewers Farmhand INF Mark Mathias. Happy to see he's balling and having success too over his 7-game stint. Naturally, McCutcheon is loving life back with Pittsburgh.

Really happy for Bush. Good to see him crawl out from beneath the bus that a lot of people threw him under.

Turang is just so heady, such a gamer on both ends of the floor, to borrow a hoops term. I even loved his thought process when he popped up the bunt. Great idea, just poor execution.

Didn't this game start at 3:10 Central? I just got done with work and it's already over. Last year, we'd be in the 6th right about now,...

But, I like this a lot better.

Must be fun playing the A's, Cubs. We actually swept a real team.

I wouldn’t scoff at what the Cubs are doing.  They have won 10 of their last 13 while playing series against the Rangers, Mariners, Dodgers, and A’s.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That is why the Yelich PH should have been for Miller not Wiemer. Shrug. Hopefully it doesn’t matter!

I was OK with that decision. Miller is a contact guy who runs real well. Good qualities to have in a bases loaded situation. Just didn't work out.

7-3 west coast road trip against 3 solid squads. On top of that dealing with a ton of injuries and taking on every kind of adversity. Yes sir.

Yes, and compare that to the teams we have faced...Not to mention we already took a series from them.

They're having a good start to the season, but there's little reason to be impressed by their dismantling of the A's.

I listened to some of the big 7th. It sounded like the Seaman fans were giving Winker a lot of grief. I'm glad he was a big part of the big inning.

Sweeping the swabbies!  Let's keep it rolling!

Wiemer had two hits already and was pretty hot. Why pull the hot hand?

I get and understand what Jim said and why it was done. But…. What happened in the bottom of the 9th is a direct result of that. Wiemer or Perkins catch that ball pretty easily I believe. One out off the bat changes the inning. Plus yea, JW had his first solid game at the dish in a week and a half - should have left him in. But…. It all worked out in the end. Just not how the situation read.

Not going to second guess CC because he’s pushed a lot of correct buttons this year, was just a strange decision is all!

Regardless, winning 10 of 13 in MLB is never easy, and the Mariners, Rangers, and Dodgers are all playoff contenders. The Rangers are 12-6., including winning 3 of 4 in Houston.

His 2 hits against a soft tossing lefty don’t necessarily match up with a hard throwing righty. I would have been pretty upset if he hadn’t put in Yelich or Tellez in that spot.
