I don’t hate the pick, but we keep loading up on defense in an offensive league…

I also am glad we didn’t draft JSN.  Something didn’t sit right with him skipping the playoff game.  If you sit out the Cheetos bowl, so be it.  But you chose not to play in a playoff game… just gave off a bad vibe.

He missed almost the entire 2023 season to injury and you think it is wrong he sat out a playoff game while still rehabbing his injury? Where an injury in said game would have likely been a huge hamper on his draft stock not being able to do combine stuff etc?

It isn’t like he was healthy all year and just said “peace!”. He hadn’t played for over two months. If he sat out to protect his draft stock, good for him. High IQ guy right there.

Oh absolutely. I'm just saying it's interesting more in "...how in the heck did he fall this far?" He's a fantastic player.

Oh for sure. There's been a ton of great value in the mid 1st.

Yeah just a knock that they ignored drafting a DE with those 1st rd picks then watch that DC have no idea how to get pressure on the QB.

Story may have been different had they added a DE.

Wasn't Wyatt a DE last year?

Seen his name as best LB in this class so damn good pick by Lions.

The surprise is that he wasn't rated that highly. Most people saw him going in the 2nd round. And he went at a spot most would argue is not where you want to spent capital on an ILB.

Lions obviously felt otherwise.

I LOVE how ESPN is still talking prior to the Seahawks pick at 20, and the clock on the big screen in the background is literally counting down 22, two full picks later.....

I'm watching NFL Network so I wouldn't know.

When you have 894 TV spots in the cue - something has to fall by the wayside.

They need a pitch clock on announcing these picks.

How would you milk people for their entire night then though?

May start to see a run on WRs

Seems like if the Packers value one of Flowers/Hyatt, might be time to package the third to go up and get one.

Both the Ravens and Vikings need WRs, may be too late.

Or a TE, perhaps?

I think that gets up to 28/29 so just a lil while more.

I feel sorry for the guys who are in the 'late 1st/early 2nd round' range. Gotta be brutal just wondering if you're going to be tonight a rich man. Or if you have to wait out another night.
