busy day for GB today...

Most definitely. I would think (?) given their absurd quantity of picks they might be working phones to get back into this round for two stabs?

I really really don't understand how an NFL team in 2023 thinks it's a good idea to trade up for a college kicker. There literally is zero correlation from college performance to the professional game. Just don't do it. Yuck.

Made sure to beat GB on the pick

Sarcasm, yes but given our lack of kickers...I did have a thought of "Thank you, Bill. We'll take the kicker that falls to us, Mister!"😂

DL Colby Wooden. Skilled guy. Violent disengagement with those hands. He can contribute right away as a D-Line rotational player. They'll list him as an Edge. To me, this is a hands down D-Line depth piece.

Not a bad pick and an area of need but was really expecting Safety.

Wonder if they are going to trade up yet - Do the even have cap space for 13 rookies?q

Well, not sure for this choice.  Van Ness and Wyatt, you've got a bigger need with your next pick 32 away.  Sure you can trade up but it takes a team willing to trade down such an amount of picks.  Think you'll see 16+ selections go by before you can begin the trading up process.  Waiting on Safety, hope they aren't drafted in the mean time.

Pack's next 3 selections, 159, 169, 179  lol.

They absolutely need Interior disruptor depth. I love the pick. He's a versatile heady football player with violent hands. He had a 9.27 RAS for a DT. This is a D-Line depth piece. You can never have enough depth there and, I'll go a step further: He's better today than Dean Lowry. (I don't know if that means anything but take that Dean!)

don't like that Roschon Johnson pick for the Bears (as in, I think it's a good pick for them)

WOW. Man, the Eagles are clearly the cream of the crop in the NFC. The Cowboys must be weeping.😅

Two UW guys to the Steelers. Joins the two they already had. They like UW defenders I guess.

I am sitting here a bit incredulous that Gutey and his staff really might hodl and use all these picks. That is wild. It would validate what he said last night, tho, in that they love competition in their roster. With a super young team, it might be just what they're after.

I don't know if I can remember a draft that has this amount of trade movement during the 3rd day of draft. The Packers 159th pick has moved four times already (including their acquisition). That seems bananas.

We've reached the point on Johnson's slide to wonder if he too has an injury affecting him. They said he had an eye infection during the senior bowl period. Hope it didn't affect his vision in a permanent way.

Abanikanda in the 5th round feels like the Jets best pick in their draft. He doesn't turn 21 until October. That's a ball of clay to develop in their backfield.
