Brewers-Rays Saturday Afternoon -- Lauer of the Brewers vs. Eflin of the Rays

Last night’s game gave me some hope that the Brewers might win a game in this series. The Rays offense seems to have cooled a little, giving the Brewers a chance to win a low scoring game. I don’t think they can get into a slugfest with these guys. 
 

Another thing the Brewers have going  for them today is that I have Eflin on my fantasy team. If he performs like the rest of my pitchers this week he should be giving up at least 4 runs in 6 innings or less.

This gives off fake injury vibes because Rea wasn't eligible to return until the 30th.

If it was fake they could have waited a day or 2……no need to rush Rae back if he is going to start in the Houston series…….

 

I think fans think injuries are fake much more often then they actually are.

I imagine Rea is Lauer's long man tonight if it is the reverse of what happened to Rea last week. Wouldn't assume Rea is starting in the Astros series.

I'm sorry but I have no faith in Lauer.  What this staff sees in this guy is a real mystery.  Unfortunately we don't have a lot of options.  😒

As far as I am concerned Arnold can follow Mr Met to New York after the season and we should hire either John Hart or Jeff Luhnow to get serious about winning.
