Perhaps the fact that there are 632 ads between each post has something to do with it. :-/

Paying the annual caretaker fee removes the ads - well worth it … in spite of the Brewers playing so poorly

What a waste of my Saturday afternoon

Strez has not been good lately

The Brewers are not a good team

They're not a "bad" team, just a creatively disappointing team. :-(

In seriousness, paying to remove ads is a worthwhile idea.

In all fairness, SF has had a lot of base hits in this series on ABs that weren't nearly as good as the one Winker put up in the ninth. Of course, when you aren't playing well it seems like the baseball gods take a healthy dump on you at the same time. Winkers' been lousy but he deserved much better there. Turangs' AB in the 9th was very good too.

Nothing much before that except we're trying to get a running game going, which we probably should've been doing all along.

We had the best top 3 of a rotation in team history along with the best 1-2 punch in the bullpen and gave that all away because ownership was too cheap to improve the lineup which was and still is terrible.

The only good that can come from the season is getting a great return for Burnes and hopefully Arnold does a better job than Mr Met did in his subpar return for Hader.

People can keep saying this but the top 3 of the rotation have been either extremely injured or extremely underperforming in the last 2 seasons.

LMAO. Gasser and Ruiz (who turned into Contreras and Payamps) is now a subpar return for 1.5 seasons of a 1-inning reliever.

But... I like the idea of giving the younger  guys from the farm a shot. When you can't buy a Shohei, you must try something.  Or keep grabbing the Andrew  McCutchens and Kolten Wongs? (sorry, that was not the relevant post to reply to; but I'm leaving it.)

When Gasser learns how to throw strikes we can revisit this and Stearns gets no credit for Contreras who has disappointed or Payamps since he quit before that trade was made.

It's called "baseball" and that's why the season is so long. Embrace it!

I'm all for giving the young guys a shot but Wiemer can't hit and Turang looks like a typical punchless middle infielder. I wish this team would stop wasting so many high picks on middle infielders that aren't good offensive players.

I would be very happy to see Attanasio sell the team. Its clear he doesn't have the deep pockets necessary to get this team to win a World Series. He did better than Bud at the end but his ceiling as an owner has been reached which wasn't very high to begin with.
