To be a serious contender we need more consistent hitting.  IMO pitching isn't what is holding this team back.

The hitting is very consistent

What the Brewers need is BETTER hitting.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Just checked the score - another brutal offensive performance

So glad my work prevented me from wasting another three hours watching this dreadful team play

Thankful to have a break from Brewers baseball until Friday night

Yeah I can't get on board with anyone blaming the pitching for today's loss. Our offense put up 1 run. Our offense put up 9 runs in the series and 4 of them came on one of the flukiest innings you'll ever see. We are fortunate to have even won a single game against one of the best teams in baseball putting up 9 runs in 3 games.

I'm impressed with Arizona. They are fun to watch.

It was VERY impressive............and frustrating...............watching them go about their business today. Tight zone, and they recognized it. Their approach is the difference between Teheran going into the 7th inning, and having to leave after five. We never would've had similar success running up the pitch count b/c Gallen is really good. Still, he had only two 3-ball counts in seven innings, and it's no coincidence those were both successful ABs. It's not easy to grind out at-bats, esp vs a guy like they faced today, but the difference in approach was obvious, especially with the small zone. You seldom see a team successfully take as many pitches with 2 strikes as the D-Backs did this week. It wears on a pitcher. Under the circumstances it made Teherans' performance today all the more impressive.

The Brewers are broken … they have been for a few years

A few pitchers returning in the next month doesn’t fix the offense

I pray we won’t “buy” at the trade deadline

This team cannot win this year

You should lose games when you only collect 3hits. They lost both in this series. You need 3runs to give your pitchers a chance not 3hits.

Adames absolutely the most at fault for this teams offense. Hasn't had an Xbh in 12games now.  8 singles in 48ABs. 4BBs. .166/231/166 for a .397 OPS. MLB shows his last 30 games at .168/.223/.301 for a 524OPS. Your #3 hitter. AZ trots out a rookie batting

328/400/698 over his last 30games. 1.098 OPS.

And yet we'll see Willy at 3 or 4 every game the rest of this month.

Figured I go as back and it's at 43games for Adames. 174PAs 2SF. 157ABs 26hits 3 doubles. 6HRs. 17RBI 14BBs:51Ks 1HBP.

Totals to .165/238/299 -537OPS

12 GS 2nd in order

26 GS 3rd in order

5GS 4th in order.

That's a long time consistently batting 165-168 occupying the best batter spots nearly 85pct of his last 43games started.

To be honest, I am doubtful for next year's result as well. But time will tell.

Unfortunately you speak the truth.  Their hitting is consistently poor.

But it isn't just Adames.  There is enough blame to go around.  Yeli seems to be doing well but but he is the exception.
