I love that the Brewers have dramatically altered their approach this season to an approach so many fans wanted and now when the offense sucks with this approach the fans are still blaming the old approach for the problems.

The team sucks at hitting the ball in the air. The team sucks at pulling the ball. The fans: "All they ever do is try to pull the ball" lmao

They are second in the league in strikeouts and climbing quick.     How about changing that @##*$;;= approach

Huh? Maybe the most bizarre take I’ve ever seen on brewers baseball after 30 years of watching this team.

Well that's six shutout innings for Peterson and he still has a 7 ERA.

Imagine a manager letting his pitcher throw to another batter to reach a quality start at 101pitches vs pulling him and using the bullpen.

Oh boy the Brewers that pull the ball dramatically less and hit the ball in the air dramatically less this season didn't change there approach!!! What was I thinking.

Caught stealing while down by 7 runs?

Is GameDay missing part of the story or did they really try to steal?

It happened. Don’t know what Weimer was thinking.

Man Wiemer caught stealing vs Narvaez and Mets up 7runs?  How bad was his jump? Cripes. Surprised to read he even threw up 7. Wouldn't that be indifference and not even considered a SB?

I’d say those are rookie mistakes but that’s crap you learn in little league

That's enough ! Goodnight ! Just one game. Let's get them tomorrow!

Yeah me too. They've not made a comeback over 5runs nor in 9th inning yet.

What's Narvaez even doing throwing to 2b? Is the real question. Wiemer running to 2b down 7 with 1out isn't a rookie mistake. Breaks up the chance for another gidp. Average situation.

It is not bizarre it is an actual fact.  This team is not pulling or hitting as many fly balls.  They are going to center and opposite more.  There is a topic in this board with all of the stats in it if you don’t believe it.

Their overall strategy of scraping the bottom of the free agent barrel and loading their triple a team with fringe players did not. Again, weird take.

So how does that disprove or make what was said a weird take?  Have you even looked at the stats?

SELL, SELL, SELL, I get the “extra bites at the apple/ playoffs  are a crapshoot” mantra, but who are they kidding? This Milwaukee squad gets bounced immediately  by any of the real teams in the NL.

That being the most likely case, I’d rather see a sell off and rebuild of a team that can win in the playoffs as opposed to a team that thinks they can get there in a watered down division then roll the bones and pray.

From this article:

The trick, Teheran said, was learning to pace himself through the game and the season.

I think this is the key to success. One of them is. If you don't follow this rule, burnout sets in for anyone. However, in the case of Teheran, it was the coronavirus that hurt him - that is another story.
