It’s getting harder for me to resist buying a cream Yelich jersey.

My kid just bought the pinstripe one.

Miley losing his control. You can’t issue 3 walks to the bottom of the order.

Good thing Anderson snagged that screamer or this had all the look of THE blow up inning.

Brewers’ saving grace here might be that Lively just came off the IL without making a single rehab start.

He's been pretty sharp considering.

Yeah, and he has retired 13 of the last 14 batter with zero hits with only 69 pitches. Not much of a saving grace.

Yeah limited pitch count as opposed to his actual performance which has been really good.

Doesn’t change the fact that his pitch count is almost certainly more limited than the typical starter, particularly when he didn’t make a single rehab start. That’s a saving grace otherwise he’d be a real threat to go the distance.

Yeah, but if he can get through six (or 7) on that limited pitch count it negates any advantage of a limited pitch count.  They just go to the A bullpen in a close game.

I’d rather go against their bullpen at this point. Greater chance that someone’s off their game as opposed to Lively who is clearly on his game.

And as I type this he’s out of the game.
