If I were the Reds manager, and now know that I probably won’t have to face Yelich or Frelick again, I’d be sorely tempted to not even use my A-bullpen…

yeah...but then again they haven't won a game against the Brewers in seemingly forever...Reds looking to put together a big inning here though.  Would be nice to hold them and force their key relievers to have to pitch tonight

Willy made up his mind he was swinging first pitch, then made up his mind the wasn't going to swing at the second pitch.  He has no clue right now.

lol.  The Cards aren't gonna give us Arenado abd Goldschmidt.

If we started with chourio, they absolutely would.  They are a train wreck and need to rebuild.

True they need to rebuild but they aren't gonna give US those 2 guys.  They'll trade them elsewhere.

I honestly don't understand where our analytics 'break' happened within this organization.   Years ago we couldn't get rid of Domingo Santana or Chris Carter fast enough.  Now the team has multiple versions of those 2 players without the power/OBP rates.

This organization's track record developing hitters is a reason why I'd have very little hesitancy trading some of the guys in our farm system at the deadline.

It has nothing to do with an analytics breakdown, it's all about their total unwillingness to spend $$ on LEGIT bats in FA. When you won't spend the $$ required, this is what you get. The Brewers are one of those organizations that seem to think they are the "smartest" guy in the room. They sign retreads thinking they have the "magic formula" to turn them around...except they are retreads for a reason. It's the old adge that you get what you pay for. They shop at Walmart's clearance rack every off season, they have only themselves to blame.
