Keller has a rough period pre all star break but has looked better since, and has been exceptional at limiting hard contact

That being said this series is there for the taking with Priester coming up soon, probably a spot start to fill in for Rich Hill and the pirates having sold a fair bit. Stamp some authority on it now that the Brewers are home.

Maybe Brian Anderson is good to go and start off like he started the season

That last series shows how offense is important.    You just keep these bad teams in the game trying to run prevent 3-2 and 2-1 wins.   Then one bad thing happens and you lose

you have to start hitting the ball now

Or throw the baseball directly to the catcher on home plate. That would help.

What is crazy is we got lucky these past couple of days even though we dropped that series to the Nats.  After that mess we are still only a half a game back.  I'm not going to rag on Williams blowing a save.  It just showed he is human.  Even the best have off days.  Let's hope we can get back on track at home against the Bucs.

I think the defense failed more than Williams!

Yes, and Contreras still could have caught it, I think, BUT, today is a new day!

We are back on the winning track!

What happened to the broadcaster, Brian Anderson?  Is he still under contract with the Brewers/Bally Sports Wisconsin?

Let's get Uecker on the TV broadcasts at home!

No question but Williams did cede a hit after Santanas' error and walked the bases loaded.  Poo happens.  Let's take our frustrations out on Pitt tonite.

A good throw is a double play.

That’s what I mean.    You can’t make one darn mistake.    We give ourselves no leeway at all.     You have to win a game 5-1 once in awhile

I want 16 runs tonight just like the Cubs last night!

I don’t think BA and Schroeder do road games anymore and BA hardly does home games. It’s probably time BA just move on.

He said because the Brewers gave him his first big gig, he'll stay as long as they want him. But he's in demand elsewhere. I agree maybe it's time to move on.

Is 6:15 a normal time? Seems early. I thought 6:40 was the common weeknight start time. Heading over from Madison and was surprised.

I could be wrong, but I believe this is the only 6:15 weekday home game this year. Very odd, going to be a bit of a rush getting to the park after work tonight, and I'm expecting to miss some action which is annoying.

been saying this for quite sometime.

He never truly knows what's going on with the Brewers, is probably just reading everything from notes passed on to him by the producer.

He now just feels like a guy who shows up every so often, nothing but a fill in...

I know he's probably more of a Badgers guy, but I really liked Matt Lepay calling games on the tube.

Don’t forget that the Cubs are now just 2.5 games back of the Brewers. So, while the Brewers have stayed just a half game behind by beating up on the Reds, the Cubs have gone on a tear to move from 8.5 games out of first place just two weeks ago to 3 games out now.

This is now undeniably a 3 team race, and just jogging in place may not be good enough to get and stay ahead of both of the other teams.  The way I look at it, anything less than 5 wins in these 7 home games against two last place teams will represent a step backward in the division race.

He’s 100% a Badger guy who IMHO has an annoying sing song approach to talking. And he could never seem to be able to go too long without bringing up something relating to the Badgers.

If you’re a Badger fan (which I’m not) you probably like him on Brewers telecasts. If you aren’t you’d probably be inclined to turn the sound down or not.
