Back in the day it used to be that way ! Play your best nine and call it the day !

Platoons are fine.  I just don't think Frelick is that guy.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Infield single and Texas Leaguer double...peguero has been plenty effective so far

Peguero doesn't strike guys out like the other guys. That's the problem.

Brewers have four strikeouts in five plate appearances when just getting a ball in play was all they needed and the White Sox do just that and score a run.

Agree ! He just seems to have a idea when he's at bat instead of swinging as hard as you can at everything !

Adames and quite a few others could learn a thing or two watching Frelick hit.

He allowed a run, but he had a very effective inning. I bet if you check xba on those 3 "hits" it's very very low. There's certainly an argument to give uribe higher leverage chances over peguero, but it's not an egregious error.

Frelick has now walked and homered the only two times he's faced a lefty. Neutral splits in the minors. Next time we face a lefty and he's on the bench, my tv might want to hide the remotes.

Just seems like we always have a breakdown in one or two phases that just make everything a nail biter !

It’s called a very poor contact team.   They strike out entirely too much.    They just can’t put teams away when they have their foot on their throat

Never seen a team whiff as much as this team does with such little power to go along with it.

This sure feels like there's a big kick to the nads coming.

Wish I could feel that way.  At this point I consider every game a coin flip until its over.

That’s the definition of bad hitters.
