Counsell has to use a take sign more often. These guys should not be swinging 3 0 3 1 as often as they do. Taylor had a walk with the team's best hitter coming up. Ridiculous

Just tuning in and didn’t know we were facing the ghost of Cy Young tonight.

Unfortunately the Brewers make guys like this look unhittable.  We've seen this movie before.

Nice win yesterday that I wasn't able to watch because I had the audacity to cross the Wisconsin border by six miles and visit my cabin.

It sure is nice to type Burnes as the starter one day, then follow that up with Woodruff the next. Today appears to be a nationally televised game on Fox so keep that in mind.

I am interested in your cabin! (he said from New Orleans where the temp is 100 and the humidity is close 100%, but with no rain for weeks.)

I  feel like this team is made up of hitters like Dal Maxvill, Mark Belanger, Ray Oyler, Al Weis, and Hal Lanier during the 1968 season.

And Craig counsells last season

he made them in his own image

Santana is hitting .227 with a .704 OPS and he's our third place hitter.

He's hitting between two productive hitters and killing us.

I was looking at the box score from the Cubs game today. They didn’t have one hitter in their lineup with an OPS under .700. And they went out at the deadline and brought in a guy over .800.

I don't care if this is beating a dead horse but there is no way Hiura can't outhit Santana and Canha.

At this point, your are beating on a skeleton.

Brewers lineup is a lot closer to the Royals and A's than any other contending teams.

Just curious, but why wasn’t a bigger deal made out of the 1b ump screwing over Santana.  That chopper was clearly over the bag AND even landed on the line like 15’ after the bag.  Should have been a double.  Instead Santana hit into a GIDP.  Terrible job on the broadcast to just casually do a replay without slow motion or a 2nd angle

They hardly showed any replays too.  I thought live that was on the line.

What do you expect….you’re watching it on Fox. The Brewers….honestly it’s not for everyone.

And regardless, even if it was 1’ foul (which it wasn’t) it would have defied physics to not have crossed the bag.

This game has numbed everyone into a comatose state.

I just brush it off and rationalize it as sparing me the frustration of seeing the Brewers fail,to,score with runners on second and third and nobody out.
