Regarding the prior post, give a listen, keeping in mind the true nature of injuries will rarely be revealed, something we should all be used to by now in terms of disclosure unless an injury on the field is obvious (such as Brock Wilkes’s face HBP earlier this summer).

Sounds like Adams and Hall should play a few games in the Cedar Rapids series.  Pratt they may play on the weekend. Areinamo is likely ok - probably removed for rest and may get a day off (or 2) this week.

Victor Estevez - who is a wonderful future manager - is managing with an eye toward winning the playoffs.

ZEBULON – The Milwaukee Brewers recently announced a series roster transactions affecting the Carolina Mudcats active roster. The announced moves include the promotion of INF Jose Acosta from the Mudcats to A+ Wisconsin and the addition of OF Braylon Payne and RHP Eric Prado from the Arizona Complex League Brewers to the Mudcats.

The Carolina Mudcats roster is currently at 30 active players and 10 on the injured list.

With Prado moving up, I believe that reduces the number of healthy pitchers who threw for the ACL squad and are still on its roster to 4. Everyone else has either been promoted, traded, released or injured.

None are on the IL, all 3 have been taking batting practice and field drills, yet completely absent from the line-up since the dates I have mentioned.

I was standing next to a guy who asked Adams if he was playing tonight (That was Friday) and Luke said hopefully tomorrow.  Nope, he didn't play Saturday or today (Sunday)

Seems strange all 3 would be resting before the play-offs rather than getting at bats in...Rumor was going around that a virus or sickness was going through the clubhouse at one point, but all players have been visibly interacting with their teammates on the field in pre-game warm-ups and in the dugout during the games this week.

It's odd, that I have seen nothing, anyplace, as to why they are all not playing.

• Signed RHP Sam McWilliams and assigned to ACL Brewers

The 29-year old McWilliams has played for 8 MLB organizations since 2014, most recently released by the Cubs on August 13.

Here is a scouting report for McWilliams from 2021, seems like a nice project for the offseason for our pitching staff. Another big guy with a great arm who needs to improve control.

AA Biloxi roster update; RHP Sam McWilliams has been promoted from the ACL Brewers. He previously signed with the Brewers organization as a free agent on September 5. Williams previously pitched in the Southern League in 2022, 2018 and 2019 with the Lookouts and Biscuits

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that OF Connor Scott has been reinstated from the 7-Day Injured List and INF Ben Metzinger has been placed on the Development List. The active roster stands at 28 players.

Nice to have Scott back for next week's playoffs.
